Administrative and Fulfillment Assistant

 

My independent art and outdoor goods business has grown beyond what I can handle on my own, and I am seeking an assistant to support in the daily business operations.  Position to start immediately.

 

Flexible hours, 24-40/week, full time during busy periods.

 

Responsibilities:

Packing and shipping of online and wholesale orders

Inventory management

Local pickup and delivery (your own vehicle required)

Customer service (mainly through email)

Oversight of online sales: Etsy and Wix

Wholesale client management

Studio organization

Product prep and packaging

 

Requirements:

Cleanliness and organizational skills

Positive attitude and drive for growth

Proficient typing and computer skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (miles driven for pickup and deliveries to be compensated, about 5-25 miles/week)

Proof of full Covid vaccination (I am pregnant and therefore higher risk)

Ability to communicate professionally with customers

Ability to work independently

MUST be available full time Oct-Dec

High school diploma or equivalent

 

Experience:

Office experience

Etsy, Wix, Excel experience a plus

An art background/interest and enthusiasm for the outdoors is a plus but not a requirement.  This is NOT a creative position or internship.

 

Pay:

$17-20/hr to start, flexible hours

Large holiday bonus with possibility for overtime during busy periods

I am seeking a permanent employee with enthusiasm towards helping my business grow.  You must have the confidence to take over operations this fall/winter while I go on maternity leave.  Must be available full time for October through December and be able to commit to staying at least through the end of the year.
